Annapurna Base Camp

Trip details

1. DAY
Departure from the Zagreb Airport for the flight to Doha (or from the nearest airport for destination Doha, joining the group from Zagreb to continue the journey together). Arrival in Doha at night and transfer for the flight to Kathmandu.

2. DAY
Arrival in Kathmandu at about noon, transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon, getting to know the guide, buying the necessary equipment.

3. DAY
Driving from Kathmandu to Pokhara (823m / 2,700ft – 6-7 hours).

4. DAY
Starting point for the trekking from Pokhara to Ghandruk (1940m / 6365 ft – 5-6 hours).

5. DAY
Trekking from Ghandruk to Chhomrong (2170m / 7120ft – 5 to 6 hours).

6. DAY
Trekking from Chhomrong to the Himalayan Hotel (2920m / 9580ft – 5 – 6 hours).

7. DAY
Trekking from the Himalayan hotel to the Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m / 13,545ft) via the
Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m / 12135ft – 5-6 hours).

8. DAY
Trekking from the Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2310m / 7578ft – 7 – 8 hours).

9. DAY
Trekking from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1760m / 5770 ft – 5 to 6 hours).

10. DAY
Trekking to Naya Pul, then driving to Pokhara (6 hours of trekking, 1-hour drive).

11. DAY
Pokharra – going round the mountain museum and the largest Buddhist temple on the top of the mountain. In the afternoon departing for Kathmandu. Arrival in Kathmandu in the evening.

12. DAY
Katmandu – the tour round the city, leisure time, shopping.

13. DAY
Kathmandu – free time in the morning, getting ready for the trip back, resting. In the afternoon leaving for the Airport, flight to Doha.

14. DAY
Early morning departure for Zagreb. Arrival in Zagreb around 11.00 am.
